The Hendrick Story
Our founder Eli Hendrick created Hendrick Manufacturing using funds raised through selling oil refining patents to John D. Rockefeller's Standard Oil in the 1870s. With the proceeds from the sale, Eli Hendrick developed the All-Across Perforating Press, a revolutionary tool for sorting and sifting coal in the mining industry. Hendrick Manufacturing was founded in 1876 and remains a family-owned company to this day. We take great pride in the ingenuity of our founder and the company's ability to grow and evolve to meet the country's needs as they have changed over the past 136 years.
