Hendrick Screen is pleased to announce the promotions of Steve Lawson to Architectural Inside Sales Manager and Brenda McCarty to Architectural Product Manager.
Steve has worked at Hendrick Screen Company since 1981 in various positions including his most recent role as Architectural Product Manager. Brenda started with Hendrick Screen Company as a Customer Service Assistant in 2007. Both have played an important role in growing our Architectural business.
Congratulations to Steve and Brenda in their new positions.
New at Hendrick Screen
Hendrick Screen recently offered employees a free 12-week “Method to Stop Smoking” program through Cooper Clayton in Owensboro, Kentucky. In addition to the smoking cessation program, information from the National Cancer Institute was provided to educate employees on the health risks associated with the use of tobacco products. Hendrick Screen Company’s premises will be tobacco free starting July 1, 2012.
Lean EventHendrick Screen introduced a process in 2011 to promote new ideas called "Quick and Easy Kaizen". As a result of that process Tommy Pharis came up with an idea in the resistance weld area that reduces scrap on every large resistance welded screen. The annual savings is estimated at $1500 per year.

Hendrick Screen Company, a leading manufacturer of profile wire water intake/ fish diversion screens, Petrochemical grids, architectural grating and grilles and industrial filtration products announces the expansion of its facility in Owensboro Kentucky. Hendrick has begun construction to increase the square footage of its manufacturing facility by 10,000 sq ft. to increase the size and complexity of products manufactured and represents another step in our commitment to provide faster lead times for all product lines.
