Our first Lean event at Hendrick Screen was aimed at reducing set up time at the medium Resistance Weld Screen Machine.
As of this writing we have reduced set up times by over 40% from an average set up time of 100 minutes to approximately 60 minutes per set up.
The improved set up time has allowed
Hendrick Screen to increase productivity in the resistance weld area.
